Jesus Christ, God’s sinless Son, was sent by the father to pay the penalty for our sins by dying on the cross in our place. The Bible says:

    “But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

Romans 5:8

    “For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God,”

I Peter 3:18a

Then how do we cross the bridge to eternal life?
