A.We believe that marriage is ordained by God to be a sacred union until death of one man and one woman, who, being joined together by God Himself, are not to be put apart by man through infidelity or divorce; that marriage is intended by God to be an illustration both of the companionship among the members of the Godhead and of the relationship between Christ and His Church (Christ’s loving care for the Church and the Church’s loving submission to Christ); and that a believer should not marry an unbeliever. B.We believe that fornication, adultery, homosexuality, bestiality, and any similar practices are a violation of God’s law, and as such, are practices which God finds abominable; that such practices are not fitting for those who belong to the kingdom of God; but that those who have done such practices, as any sinners, may be washed, sanctified, and justified in the Lord Jesus upon truly repenting, confessing unto God, and forsaking their sin.
